As we understand both Catch and Release and some Keeping fishing will be available in Oregon in 2022. Make sure to watch the announcements and regulations for the differents waters you can fish and if you can keep fish or not.
Whether you are just releasing Sturgeon or keeping a few to take home the experience is one that you will never forget. Sturgeon can grow to over 12′ in Oregon and can weight into the hundreds of pounds.
Most Sturgeon Fishing is done on the Columbia River and on the first few miles of the Willamette River in the Portland area.
